Public Training Courses
Under Section 67 of the Victorian Occupational Health & Safety Act 2004, elected Health & Safety Representatives are entitled to attend a Health & Safety Representative Initial Occupational Health & Safety Training Course and then a Health & Safety Representative Refresher Occupational Health & Safety Training Course in each year that they hold office after the initial course. The courses must be chosen by the Health & Safety Representative in consultation with their employer.
